Demetria Lennette Garnett

Demetria Lennette Garnett was born on January 20, 1973, and she peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Demetria was preceded in death by her beloved mother Linda, and her father Lewis Lytle.

She graduated from Asheville High School class 1991.

Demetria was known for her beautiful smile and kind heart. She Loved cooking, spending quality time with her family, and decorating. Her passions included music, scented candles, and watching Lifetime movies. You could often find her solving puzzles, playing games, watering her plants and playing her favorite card game, spades.

Demetria is survived by her cherished children Quantarian Garnett, Keshawnna Benjamin, Brittany Littlejohn, Brevon Littlejohn, Deleisha Bowman, Antonio Stinson, Antoria Stinson, and Aniya Simmons. She will also be remembered by her adored grandchildren Tykese, Tania, Syquarius, Tiana, Se'Kani, Ahmod, Sy'Ariah, Quantarian Jr., De'Andre Jr., Armani and De'Sire, her stepfather William Petty, her uncles Stanley Gamble and Dennis Garnett, her sister Tonya Lytle, and a multitude of family and friends.

She will be laid to rest during a private family memorial.
